Dear all,
After almost 35 years at EN – of which exactly 30 years as the company’s CEO –, numerous electric motors and many customer contacts, the time has finally come to hand over EN motors to the next generation.

I am happy that we have found an “internal” successor in the form of Maarten van Berkum, guaranteeing that EN will continue to be the company that you and we hold dear. With Maarten, EN will have a passionate CEO who embraces innovation,assuring the company’s future well beyond its centenary anniversary.

As the last of three generations of Bergers, I will therefore not be closing the door behind me. Instead, I feel confident about the future, along with Maarten and all of our employees. I look forward to serving EN as an adviser in the coming years, playing an active role within the company.

Time flies when you’re working with a great team. Thanks to their enthusiasm and skill, we were fortunate to continue manufacturing in-house, leading to some special motor projects over the years.

During this time, I also built a network of many dear customers and friends, with whom I shared many ups and downs of entrepreneurship and life.

I want to thank everyone for the very pleasant cooperation. The new management team takes the helm on 1 January 2021.

Despite the necessary social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic, I nonetheless want to wish everyone a good and healthy 2021.
